Governor Pritzker has issued Executive Order 2020-07, which calls for the temporary suspension of certain Open Meetings Act (OMA) requirements in light of the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to this order, the Westchester Public Schools’ Board of Education will be implementing temporary rules that will allow for virtual participation in upcoming meetings. This is being done to help preserve and protect the health and safety of everyone involved and also comply with the directive from the state and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to limit large gatherings.
For the duration of the COVID-19 crisis, Board of Education Meetings will be held with limited in person participation along with virtual participation.
The agenda for the April 16, 2020 Board of Education Meeting is available in BoardDocs: https://go.boarddocs.com/il/sd925/Board.nsf
Please note that the April 16th meeting will be held in the WMS Gymnasium beginning at 4:30 p.m.
