Westchester Public School students must legally reside within the school district boundaries.  All students must prove residency each year as a requirement of enrollment and registration.

 

An official birth certificate is required for initial registration.  Students starting kindergarten at the Westchester Public Schools must be five years of age on or before September 1st.  Students entering first grade must be six years of age on or before September 1st of this school year.

 

 

Registration information for the 2026-2027 school year will be provided online via the District website, PowerSchool Parent Portal, and Parent Square. No paper mailings will be sent home. Registration Returning Students will open on April 6, 2026.  All returning families must register online through your PowerSchool Parent Portal account. You will be required to upload documents online that prove your residency; no in-person or document drop-off is available.

 

Registration for new Kindergarten students will start March 2, 2026. Online registration for new students  Grades 1-8 will be available on July 1st.  Please go to the New Student Registration Page to start the process.
