Students
should arrive at 7:50 a.m. for school each day.
For the safety of our WMS students and to
ease traffic congestion and confusion,
all parents should use the following
guidelines.

At entrance and dismissal parents should
not enter the parking lots,
drop off or pick up your child
on Norfolk.
Parent Vehicle Drop Off/Pick Up
- Parents driving your child to school should
drop your child off on the south side of Canterbury facing east so students
do not need to cross the street.
- Students being picked up from school or
walking home at the end of the day will be dismissed from the north Canterbury
doors. If you are picking up your child at regular dismissal
(2:48), from school activities (3:45), or from a sports team practice
(5:00), please wait facing east on the south side of Canterbury.
Bus Drop Off/Pick
Up
- Busses will drop off all students at the
west entrance to the building.
- Students will be dismissed to the busses
from the southeast building entrance as in the past.
Student Entrances
- 6th grade entrance is the northeast door at
the corner of Canterbury and Norfolk.
- 7th grade entrance is the north door
directly on Canterbury
(original George F. Nixon doorway).
- 8th grade entrance is the west entrance
facing the parking lot.
Students will not be admitted to the building at
the Norfolk, south or Media Center
entrances
at the beginning of the the school day.
