Our fifth grade team will be performing The Legend of Slappy Hooper, an American tall tale this year. In Reader's Theatre 2-10 students read a selection using a script, but no costumes or props are used. Students are free to move around and interact with each other when performing. We compete in February with approximately 17 other school districts. Judging is based on our interpretation, vocal expression, body & facial expression, enunciation, script handling, and fluency. We meet on Wednesday mornings until our competition in late February. Mrs. Czajka is the club sponser. Our WIS team has received a First Place ribbon the last two years.
