Required School Supplies

 

Each 6th grade student will need the following supplies:

 

  • Pencils and pens (black, blue, and red)
  • Loose leaf paper
  • 12” Ruler
  • 1 Packet 4 x 6 index cards
  • Tissues (2 boxes given to 1st period teacher)
  • Paper towels (1 roll given to Science teacher)
  • Colored markers and pencils
  • Plastic accordion folder – Minimum 10 sections (Instead of Trapper)

 

Social Studies:

  • 1 red theme book (with or without spiral)

Math:

  • 1 green theme book (with or without spiral)*
  • Protractor
  • Ruler
  • Set of 4 Expo black fine tip dry erase markers

 

Language Arts:

  • 1 blue theme book
  • 1 – 3 subject spiral with three-subject divider folders between subjects (minimum 150 pages)
  • 2 highlighters

 

Science:

  • 1 inch Binder
  • 1 set of 5 dividers for binder
  • Loose-leaf notebook paper for binder
  • 2 Expo dry erase markers

 

*These theme books should not be multi-subject.  Each subject requires its own theme book.

 

Physical Education:

  • Gym uniforms will be purchased through the WMS PTO.

 

Arts and Technology

These supplies will be used all year in each of the six trimester classes.

  • Pocket folder (2 per trimester, may be reused)
  • Writing tool
  • Spiral notebook (2 per trimester, may be reused)
  • Loose leaf paper
  • Highlighter
  • Markers
  • Art:  2 pencils, large pencil eraser

 

 

Some teachers may require additional materials for specific projects.

 

Recommended for all students:
a flash drive to carry computer projects between home and school.

  • 1 package index cards (100 each)
